Terms & Conditions – Premarital Counseling Services 1. Purpose of Premarital Counseling Premarital counseling helps couples prepare for marriage by strengthening communication, clarifying expectations, and building skills for a healthy lifelong partnership. The goal is preparation and growth—not perfection. Counseling does not guarantee marital outcomes. 2. Voluntary Participation Both partners agree to participate openly and willingly. For best results, couples agree to: Attend scheduled sessions consistently Participate honestly in discussions and exercises Complete recommended activities outside sessions Either partner may discontinue services at any time. 3. Confidentiality All sessions are confidential and will not be shared without written consent from both partners, except when required by law, including: Threat of harm to self or others Suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or vulnerable adult Court order or legal obligation Information shared individually may be discussed in joint sessions if it impacts the relationship. 4. Scheduling & Attendance Sessions are by appointment only. Please arrive on time to receive the full benefit of your session. Cancellation Policy 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged the full session fee. 5. Fees & Payment Payment is due at time of booking or prior to the session. Fees are non-refundable once services are provided. 6. Virtual Sessions For online sessions: Couples must ensure privacy and minimal distractions. Sessions may not be recorded without written permission. 7. Not Crisis or Emergency Services Premarital counseling is not emergency care. For emergencies call 911 or 988 Crisis Lifeline. 8. Scope of Services Premarital counseling does not provide legal, financial, or medical advice. 9. Agreement By scheduling and attending sessions, both partners acknowledge that they have read and agree to these terms.
